Position Title: Project Manager
Job Description:
Plans, direct, and coordinate activities of projects to ensure that goals or objectives are accomplished within
the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Responsible for competition project on-budget and on-schedule.
Ability to lead a project team. Confers with engineers, programmers, and designers to interpret design concepts,
determine nature and type of required detailed working drawings, and coordinate work with others. Reviews controls
design arrangements and operation sequences of mechanical equipment, sensors and control devices locations.
Review logic, wiring, and equipment diagrams for direct digital control (DDC) systems. Manage the development and
administration of the commissioning designed control systems.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of process, project management and project controls in an engineering and construction environment. Good understanding in engineering and construction methodology and the associated financial aspects. Professional attitude and presentation while representing the company. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership and clients/customers. Excellent planning and correspondence. Ability to handle all required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner. Experience in dealing with a large and diverse number of problems, often simultaneously. Ability to review schematic drawings and understand architectural drawings. Proven ability to work as a part of a project management team. Experience in assigning, directing, supervision and training employees, addressing complaints and resolving personnel problems.
Experience in DDC, Access Control, CCTV and Networking.
Position Title: DDC Controls Technician (experienced and entry level)
Job Description:
Responsible for the programming, installation, and servicing control systems in new and retrofit projects under
the direction of Project Manager. Tech will provide technical knowledge for project and oversee the technical side,
also be responsible for attending technical related meetings and completing the required documentation and reports
for the project. Project start up, test, commissioning, field programming, trouble shooting, product support to our
customer, training and as built documentation.
Requirements:
1. Basic knowledge of the HVAC industry and associated equipment.
2. State certified electrical and/or HVAC apprentice license a plus.
3. Ability to follow wiring schematics, mechanical drawings, and write work instructions.
4. Recommend changes as necessary.
5. Good oral and written communication skills, with ability to adapt quickly.
6. Excellent customer service skills.
7. Relevant computer skills and networking.
8. Experience in either line or block programming a benefit.
9. Experience with open interoperable systems a benefit (BACnet or LonWorks).
10. The candidate must also have a valid state motor vehicle license with a safe driving record.
